Praying, Waiting, Anticipating, Hoping

Tomorrow Hubby has a big interview. We have been praying, waiting, anticipating, and hoping for this job. He made it through the first two selection processes and is among the top 28 out of 100 who are being interviewed over the next 3 days. With such a long stint of unemployment (coming up on 3 years in October), it is difficult not to get my hopes up about a job that will bring in decent income to support our growing family. Over the last almost 3 years, employment has been scarce and when he has been hired, something has gone awry. Either they take away the majority of his hours, not pay him on time, or require that he work for below minimum wage. In the last 5 weeks, he has sent out and called on 120 jobs and out of those 120 jobs, he has had about 7 interviews. This job interview tomorrow is promising and we are asking the God's will to rule in this situation. Even though we want it so badly, we want God's will for our lives so much more. We know that He will provide for us, we know that He hears us, and we know that He loves us. "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" says the Lord. Lord, we believe that and will continue praying, waiting, anticipating, and hoping in You.
