Summer Heat!

It is HOT HOT HOT! We have had a realitively mild summer until the last 3 days when temperatures have been in the high 90s. I am even extra warm due to being 6 months pregnant! Besides the heat, the last couple weeks of summer have been fun. Here are some highlights:

Kiddos got in some fun beach time with friends

Kiddos got to meet Bob and Larry from Veggietales. At first they were completely scared of them, but eventually they both warmed up and we even got a family picture with them!

We all went and saw Winnie the Pooh at the dollar theatre and had some popcorn (almost more exciting for the kids than the actual movie!)


My mom took me out for a "day away" and we had a great time meeting author Francine Rivers (Redeeming Love, Voice in the Wind Series---sooo good!), then yummy breakfast/coffee, much needed pedicure and massage, beach boat ride with Crab Cooker for lunch, prayer time at Balboa, Dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and Captain America while eating Ice Cream! All of this to have an early celebration for my upcoming 30th Birthday!! Thanks Mom! <3

Baby #3 is kicking and moving a LOT! I am officially 6 months pregnant and am feeling fantastic---no complaints other than the heat :) No heartburn, leg cramps, etc.... Oh, and I've only gained 4 pounds this pregnancy! Yay!

On the homefront, we are still waiting on the Lord for a job for my hubby and for a place to call our own. We are praying that this week will bring great news that he is offered the job with OCFA!
