We may be acquiring a new pet.... ready for this? A praying mantis!!! Both kiddos are totally into learning about bugs and specifically they are completely intrigued by the praying mantis. It is by far the most talked about bug in our household. We have checked out almost every book in the library that has pictures and info on the praying mantis. So.... one of my super great friends has a son that is totally into bugs too and has been catching praying mantis! He caught one for my kiddos and we may be getting it this week! Here is a picture of what we will have:

My family is coming home from their two week trip to Ireland!

Normal routine, preschool for the kiddos, church in the evening....

Rounding out the week with a field trip for the kiddos.... maybe the zoo or the pumpkin patch? Still trying to decide on that one.
Looking forward to what God is doing in our lives this week and throughout the next months, years, decades... God is Good and we are trusting and hanging on to the promises in His word. It's been so tough for us financially and our living situation. We are earnestly praying, seeking, and praying some more for the Lord to intervene in our lives and provide us a home to call our own before this little baby is born.... I'm 28 weeks and full blown nesting instincts are here, but my hands are tied and I can do nothing but wait.....
